Puuuuurrr

A little Cheetah print goes a long way in a room, so use it sparingly.  We needed a lamp for our bookcase under our front window so when I saw this gorgeous soft butter yellow glass lamp it was the perfect choice.  Check out the lamp shade! It's white linen on the outside and cheetah print on the inside.  If the light is off, you can't see the cheetah print at all. The cheetah print really shows if the light bulb is on, or if the sun is shining brightly through the window.

Along with the pretty lamp, I re-potted my cactus in the white pot we found during our recent trip to Ikea. In the little tin container, I spaced out some little cacti that were struggling. I'm hoping they take off in this pot. I added some sand to the mix, so hopefully they'll do better.

Here's a little close-up of the inside of my lamp showing the cheetah print lining. Oh and I should probably mention that I found the lamp at Lowes on clearance.

It would be fun to find a light bulb like this to add to it.

These fun little living room updates are getting us much closer to being finished with the room.
There's just a one thing left to do and that is build our entertainment center! Getting excited about showing you the final room.

Hope you're having a great week!
