New Dining Room Rug

Now that our floors are finished, I'm finally getting around to showing you the finished dining room. Don't worry kitchen photos are coming soon! We spent the past weekend tiling our back splash and we're finishing up the grout tonight so we'll be able to show you finished kitchen photos soon!  

Let me just say I think the dining room finally feels complete with the new rug.  It just gives the whole room something fun and really draws your eye down to the ground.  We like how the pattern mimics the stenciling on the walls and the flower shape of the light fixture.  

The rug is from Overstock and it's an indoor/outdoor rug so I'm not too concerned that it will get stained. I think I can literally hose it down outside. And it's not too rough on the feet.

 The table scape.  The pine cone lights were from Target's Christmas line.

The dining room chairs were refinished by me a while back. And the gray dining room chair covers were hand sewn by my Mom.

I hope you like the new dining room!  We are happy to have our house feeling like home again.
