The coffee table in the living room displays our German and Polish decorations. I have faux candles that come on at night, but a few times a month I will put in real candles.
My Christmas Cactuses were beautiful this year. I also planted three Amaryllis bulbs and two pots filled with Paper Whites.
My German Christmas Smoker always comes out this time of year. I love winding up the music box inside and I get the Knox Christmas incense cones to burn inside.
Our real Frasier Fir is from the NC mountains but we buy it at a family run business called the Jordan Lake Christmas Tree Farm. We love the tradition of bundling up and bringing hot cocoa to the farm and searching for the perfect tree. When we get home Joe cuts the bottom off and we decorate it as a family and watch A Christmas Story.
All of our Christmas stockings were needlepointed by hand by either my Mother-in-law or Great Aunty Sharon in Hawaii. Truly cherished heirloom qualify that will last forever.
This Santa Statue is new this year from an online estate sale. It was an add-on item that also included a Naif Christmas platter.
I guess I have a thing for Paper Christmas decorations, especially trees that light up.
Our "new" antique French Louis XV credenza looks so wonderful decorated for Christmas. It's always fun to decorate new furniture for the holidays with new shelves and places to put things. I'm still a sucker for hot pink Poinsettias instead of traditional Red. I don't care if it was supposed to be a "Ralph Lauren" Christmas. Pink will always be my favorite.
Our gallery wall in the eat-in-kitchen was also new this year so it was fun decorating around it. I strung vintage garland across and it worked great. The picture at the top is a Christmas print.
The living room chandelier got 5 burgundy bows. Speaking of burgundy, it looks so pretty with pink! I also added burgundy flowers to the mantel garland and on the tree this year.
The hallway to the guest room got outfitted with tree shaped taper candles and pink ribbons.I picked up these Pottery Barn reindeer candelabra's at an Estate Sale for a very good price. They are really heavy and great quality. I was also able to find the original round candles on ebay.
Our crystal light fixture creates such a pretty glow in our foyer. I use incandescent bulbs to create warmth now instead of LED's.
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!! 2026 will be great. 🎄
