This years outside lights got a few more details than in previous years. We added some pretty garland across the front porch with willow lights wrapped around them for a very bright addition.
We used the vintage colored C9's across the first story and also a layer of white Icicle LED's on the first and second stories. I wrapped white LED's along the banisters and front railing and some around the front door.
We skipped the lights down the pillars this year because of the new garland lights.
The front porch gets decked out with a faux Spruce tree with snow, lights in the planters and around the hanging wall basket.
We hung the large wreath at the front of the porch this year. Sometimes it's on the second story.
In our front planters I use little green lemon cypress trees mixed with white annuals at Christmas time. They will last all winter.
Our porch Christmas lantern has been around a while. We've had multiple breaks on it and it's being held together with Gorilla glue for the most part. The MERRY sign was from the At Home store years ago. The pink "P" ornament was from the Kirkland store and it was originally red.
Our whole street adds these light arches to our sidewalk. It makes our street very festive.
We use white light up birch trees on either side of our driveway and a bigger white tree in the middle of yard. In the daytime the white really stands out.
In our plum tree we use white light up balls and silver ornaments that are for outdoor use. The birdhouse matches our house in color.
The back patio gets a row of C9 lights and some mini lights along the railing. The daybed is dressed with a Cath Kidson comforter and festive Christmas pillows.
Hope you enjoyed this little outdoor Christmas tour. Still 8 more days of the twelve days of Christmas left. I think it will be finally cold enough tomorrow to feel like winter in NC!
