With several up coming visitors to Durham this summer I thought I would spruce up the bathroom a bit. First it started with just some updates like new towels and caddy for the counter. Then it turned into other pretty easy updates like new faucets, new paint, a beautiful new rug etc. The space got a whole new look and with pretty minor updates. I'll have to save for the new bathtub/tile job, so for now this will do!
I painted the walls and ceiling Sashay Sand by Sherwin Williams. They were white before. I replaced both chrome faucets with brass ones called Kingston Heirloom. We replaced both light fixtures with Lamps Plus lights called Kenroy Home Roberts 22 1/2" Brushed Gold 3-Light Vanity Bath Light. The new rug is from Etsy seller TurkishRugSpecial. We added new hand towels and caddy from Home Goods. Overall it's very eclectic but added much needed personality.

I really can't wait to tackle the bathtub. I'm really hoping some day to replace the plastic tub with a ceramic one and tile the walls. Fingers crossed!
