Chalk paint

Bear with me as I try Blogger on my phone. Wanted to share a cute furniture update with you. I found an old lighted cabinet at the restore and it sat in the garage until I could figure out what to do it. What girl doesn't want more shoe storage?? So I tried Chalk paint for the first time. It's so very cool!

Even though the can says you don't need to prime or sand, I decided to sand and clean really well before I started. I used 2 layers of Valspar Chalk paint in dark gray and then a layer of the finishing wax. On the inside I used Flirty Fuscia by Olympic in a flat finish.

I think it looks pretty awesome! And so easy.
