I walked past this owl vase/jar about 14 times at Home Goods literally trying not to buy it. I even left the store and went to Michaels next door only to realize I couldn't live with out him. He needed a good home. My home, where he'd be free to be what he was meant to be. My new kitchen utensil holder.
I don't know what else you could use this metallic owl vase/jar for, maybe flowers? But those cut out holes leave me thinking he was meant for this new life.
He's my new favorite kitchen addition (besides of course our new white subway back splash.) And I have no regrets about the purchase either. I am always a little scared to spend money on anything. But I feel like I earned it saving all that money on doing to the trim painting ourselves on the floor. :)
Have you purchased a non-kitchen item to use in the kitchen to serve a very functional purpose?
