Scrap Paper Christmas Trees

Christmas decor on a dime! Well, actually Christmas decor that's free! What's better? This little project was free and makes a big statement. When I saw something similar in one of my magazines I knew I wanted to at least try it.  I got out my fall book of scrap paper to see if I could find anything remotely Christmasy (that's a word right?)  I found some red and green colored ones and made these:

And these:

They're a little bit quirky, a little uneven, but I still love them.

The only thing you need to make these is some 12" x 12" scrap book paper and tape. You simply fold paper into cone like shapes and tape them. To make the bigger ones I used two sheets of paper.

I'm working on a little project at the moment that will complete my Christmas mantle and I will reveal the whole shebang in a day or so.

Until then...happy Christmas tree making!
