Gray samples

White cabinets are great and all, but they just aren't working for our busy kitchen, at least not on the bottom half.  After seeing some images of two toned kitchens where the bottom cabinets are painted differently than the top cabinets I decided to give it a try. Here I am trying out colors.  The top left is the Dolphin Fin by Behr, below that is Porpoise by Behr, the one of the top right is a color matched one so not sure of the color and the bottom right is Summit Gray by Sherwin Williams.

Not sure if I'm liking any of the particular colors since none of them are really true gray. They each have very specific undertones. And for some reason Dolphin Fin by Behr. which is the same as in the living room just isn't looking the same on the cabinets.

There's definitely nothing wrong with these cabinets, but functionality comes first. With all the little hands and cooking going on in here, it's just not practical.

We'll keep you posted on what color we choose!
