Gray Tufted Ottoman

Well I couldn't get a new couch with a chaise attached to it like this one from Ikea or a new real leather couch, since it's not in our budget right now to buy one, so we got this cute little gray tufted ottoman instead.  The reason why we want a new couch is because this bi-cast leather futon that we have is tearing at the seams the the legs it sits on broke off and are just propped up.  I guess we figure we'll just let it completely wear out before replacing it.  Until then at least we can prop up our feet on this cutie.

I ordered it from Overstock when they were having one of their 10% off deals.  What's nice about this ottoman is that it provides lots of storage too.  We think it's a nice compliment to the dark gray rug and it also brings in more texture and a different color (other than black) to the room.

We love the tufted button top. The fabric is a tweed like fabric and the quality is wonderful.  I added a little bit of scotch guard to protect from spills.

Here's one sneak peak at our almost finished living room.  We think it's coming together quite nicely.

For now, it's time to go put my feet up and enjoy my new ottoman! Did a simple piece of furniture like this provide much relaxation for you too? Do tell.
